Assessments
Psychometric assessments can be very useful in summarising long conversations, by bringing trends or ideas sharply into focus. They graphically show something you may have been battling to put into words, and can be a huge support in a journey of discovery. Imagine tools that give you the freedom and space to find out who you are – through exploring your Self, your World and your Opportunities.
With over a decade of experience in the psychometric field, I believe assessments have a valid role to play in contemporary Psychology.
- They utilise and operationalise the latest theories and techniques from leading experts in various fields
- They summarise a very long conversation with clients
- They provide objective results which are utilized in therapy to uncover insights
Assessments are not always necessary, and when they are used, care should be taken to use assessments of excellent pedigree and solid psychometric properties.
