Group Career Process
One-day Career Profiling Workshop for Grade 11s
REGISTER HERE
Are you in Grade 11 and wanting clarity on a plan for your future – a plan that you can get excited about? You might be feeling the pressure and need guidance on your next steps.
This is a practical, action-focused process for you to work on your post school plan.
A career process is an individual journey of discovery, but there are great benefits to sharing this journey with others at a similar phase of life. Sharing of ideas and group learning make this a fertile ground for a small group workshop, and it has the added benefit of being more cost effective.
The aim of our time together is to:
- Know yourself, 2. Explore options, 3. Get focused, 4. Take Action
- In this action-packed day, we will cover: the career pathing equation, values, preferred career environments, Holland’s RIASEC model, top interest areas, personal style scales, options after school, APS, NBT, NSFAS/bursaries, ways to research next steps and time to put this into practice, career/ informational interviews, job shadowing and more.
- Enjoy a fun, interactive, insightful day with peers facing similar decisions
- Get feedback from quality psychometric assessments of personal style, interests and more. (Click this hyperlink to view a sample report of the Strong Interest Inventory® High School Report which each student will receive).
- Get clarity on next steps to guide you over the next 6 months
